4 Common Causes preventing clear and healthy skin

4 Common Causes preventing clear and healthy skin

Got problem skin? One or more of the following could be to blame:

1. Your diet

Your diet is often related directly to the health of your skin. Fast food, alcohol and sugar can form toxins and will be forced out of your body through your skin, causing pimples. Make sure you drink lots of water to keep your skin hydrated.

2. Stress and a lack of sleep

Not getting enough sleep? You can’t hide stress and a lack of sleep from your skin. High stress levels can be related to breakouts, and stress can cause inflammation and toxins in your body. By taking care of your mental health, you are taking care of your skin too.

3. Your skincare products

Trying to find the right products best suited for your skin is important, because using the wrong ones can often cause damage. Find the skincare products that directly access the problem that you’re struggling with, whether you have dry, oily or sensitive skin.

4. Your hygiene

Personal hygiene is very important for your skin’s appearance. Bad habits like constantly touching your face will transfer oils and bacteria to your skin and cause clogged pores. Shampoo regularly if you have oily hair and keep your pillowcases and cellphone clean.

Many of us resort to taking pills, using expensive lotions or even using contraceptives to keep our skin looking healthy. Now there is a natural approach to improve your skin and it’s suitable for all skin types. MAPP is a natural oral alternative to using an oral contraceptive.

The MAPP range is available in two courses – MAPP10 and MAPP30. MAPP10 is an intensive treatment with high dosage levels to initiate the treatment of problem skin, while MAPP30 is a maintenance therapy taken to keep the skin in good condition.

Each MAPP capsule contains the ingredient guggul (commiphora wightii), which relieves inflammation, reduces the amount of bacteria on the skin, disinfects secretions and promotes healing. It also controls some of the most common skin-related problems such as pimples, whiteheads, blackheads and pustules.

MAPP is available at ClicksDischemWellness Warehouse, leading independent pharmacies and health shops and the MAPP online shop at www.mapp.co.za/shop/.
